More than 40 Swindon patients, relatives, friends and renal unit staff attended the Christmas lunch on Sunday 14th December, which was this year held at the Marriott Hotel in Swindon. The SKPA gathering filled two long tables in the dining room.

The event was organised by Candy Manclark and Mike Powell (unfortunately Mike was ill on the big day, but we all hope he recovered in time for Christmas) and the SCKPA helped cover some of the cost. Father Christmas was a welcome arrival and provided gifts to the children.

A very successful raffle took place after the meal and the money raised is to be used for helping to fund next year's Christmas lunch and possibly other events throughout the year.
