On Sunday 10th Dec,  45 dialysis patients, partners, and renal unit staff attended a festive family lunch at the Marriott Hotel in Swindon. A 3 course carvery lunch was on offer, and even Father Christmas made an early stop to check how ‘good’ our patients  have been. The whole event was organised by Candy Manclark, who is a dialysis patient at the unit, many thanks to her for all her hard work in arranging this event. Also a big thank you, on behalf of the patients, goes to SKPA who partially covered the cost of their meal.
A raffle took place after the meal and the money raised is to be donated back to the SKPA in appreciation of all their hard work and effort throughout the year. When the money has been counted a total will be posted on the website.
All the patients had a really good time, hopefully we can arrange a similar event in the summer (when we get a summer!)
